Noventus has developed software for automation and administration of a large number of systems. Some of those systems are among the largest of their kind in the world.

Noventus has developed software for:

  • Automatic guided vehicles (AGV).
  • Automatic warehouse cranes.
  • Compact warehouses.
  • Miniload systems.
  • Pick robots.
  • Conveyour systems.

Personal Rapid Transit (PRT)

Noventus has developed all software for two personal rapid transit systems from the companies Posco and Vectus:

  • A test track with three vehicles in Uppsala.
  • A personal rapid transit system in South Korea (Suncheon Wetlands SkyCube) with 40 vehicles. The vehicles run on a 4.6 km long track with traffic in both directions. The system is capable of transporting 1300 people per hour.

For the Personal Rapid Transit systems, Noventus has developed:

  • Monitoring of traffic.
  • Distribution of transport assignments.
  • Disposition of empty vehicles.
  • Ticketing.
  • Station management.
  • Movement control of the vehicles using either linear motors in the track or asynchronous motors in the vehicles.
  • Communication.
  • Safety and quality assurance.
  • Electronics for control.
